WHAT NEXT AFTER FUEL HIKE
I was caught off guard with the stunning announcement by Prime Minister Pak Lah on the fuel price hike. I could have gone to the petrol station to fill in full tank for both the Wira and Naza as I am on leave.
But then, it was too late as I only heard about it at 8pm. I am on leave and try to keep away from the newspapers and news, except for occasional peek at the blogs.
I was however thankful that the government had "forgotten" about the NGV. No price increase at the moment and I am thankful that I made the right choice a year ago when I purchased the NGV powered Naza Ria.
Many laughed at me, saying it was a car for someone who cannot afford to buy, but still want it.
Hahahaha! I am laughing now! Norlida is also smiling as she cannot drive due to the slipped disc. At least for the next one month.
I am just worried that the ridiculous fuel price hike would send many in a frenzy getting their vehicles NGV-powered.
That would mean a longer queue at the station. Already, many are asking for more details. My advice is, do not convert to NGV now. Let me fill in the tank at ease. After all, I am staying in Bukit Sentosa, closer to Perak than KL.
